Every Month, I’ll be sharing with you real estate market reports and insights for the San Juan Islands. You can find these reports below. These market reports reflect the median sales price for that month for single family homes and vacant land.

The Report will also include stats from all over the Washington State covered by the NWMLS. This monthly video will help you understand the Real Estate market overall in Washington State.

The Skagit Tulip Festival is in full swing now April 2023. I visited Roozengaarde to see the amazing displays of daffodils and tulips. The fields are bursting with color. This spring has been colder than normal so this display is later than normal too. Chemo sucks, no doubt about it! Hair loss and chemotherapy is the topic of this video. When you are undergoing cancer treatment and doing chemo you can lose your hair. Not in all cases but, for my treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma yes, I lost all my hair. However, hair grows back! So don't despair! I also chose to shave my head so I didn't have to go through the trauma of my hair falling out slowly. I wanted to be the one to decide how my hair loss would proceed. This video shows how almost a year since ending treatment I have a full head of hair. It did grow back very differently from what I had before. I had straight strawberry blonde hair to now curly and a new interesting color. I have not highlighted my hair! I just grew back like this. Anyway, I wanted to send out encouragement to anyone going through this. I am here for you! Reach out if you need any support!
Chemo Sucks
A quick video review of DJI's Mavic Mini Drone. As a Realtor I like to share Tech Gadgets that help me with my business. This little drone is amazing, light weight and relativity easy to use. With a little practice you be flying an shooting in no time. This mini drone delivers beautiful 1080p quality video. The con's are the legs are very short so taking off and landing must be done on a smooth surface, no long grass or gravel. Otherwise I recommend IF you have the time to learn to fly it safely. Check out this before and after curb appeal on my home. As a Realtor and a Landscape Architect, I have found that many folks overlook the outside of their home and forget first impressions are huge. Planning and adding curb appeal will add value and years of enjoyment to your home. I want to help by sharing this quick video showing my house, and it's before and after transformation. Whether you are selling your home or just want to enjoy it adding plant material is a great fun option. Some types of plants take years to grow and mature so plant early and keep adding as you go. I also changed paint color of my home. I hated the color it came with! So painting is a great option, however, it is expensive but does add value. I added a fence for privacy and deer protection and planted a new garden. The video has photos of the garden as it matured.
