Since the Seattle Boat Show is happening now, I want to highlight in this blog the fantastic boating opportunities we have here in the San Juan Islands. The access to some of the most stunning marine parks and our close proximity to beautiful British Columbia make this a boaters paradise.

- Roche Harbor Marina: Located on San Juan Island this marina offers transient moorage, restaurants, fuel, restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. A yachties favorite -mine too!
- Friday Harbor Marina: Located on San Juan Island in the town of Friday Harbor offers access to all the restaurants and amenities in town transient moorage, restaurants, fuel, restrooms, showers.
- Deer Harbor Marina: Located on Orcas Island, this marina offers transient moorage, fuel, restrooms, a snack restaurant and showers.
- Westsound Marina: Located on Orcas Island, this marina offers transient moorage, fuel, restrooms, and showers.
- Lopez Islander Resort & Marina: Located on Lopez Island, this marina offers transient moorage, fuel, restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities.
Fees for transient moorage in the San Juan Islands vary depending on the marina and the size of the boat. On average, fees range from $1 to $3 per foot per night for overnight moorage. If you are a yacht club member reciprocal mooring is available on most islands. Repair facilities can be found at some marinas, but fees will vary based on the type of repair needed.
