About Jane Carhart

Jane Carhart lived in Alaska after graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. In Juneau, she founded her own consulting practice and worked on Landscape Architectural projects for residential and commercial clients including the State of Alaska and the City and Borough of Juneau. On a sabbatical to visit and explore France, she met her husband and voila, she stayed in Europe to raise their two children. After fifteen years abroad, the family returned to the U.S. and Jane Carhart began her real estate career in Jackson, Wyoming.

Jane is another second-generation realtor who began investing at an early age, discovered she was good at it, and gravitated back to the field as a professional. In Wyoming, Jane partnered with Sotheby’s International Realty for almost a decade as a consistent top producer. Jane provides full spectrum real estate services—she has ample experience with relocations, second homes and luxury properties as well as international acquisitions. She has owned properties in Mexico, Canada, France and several U.S. States.

Jane came to Orcas for the weather – yes it’s true! Orcas boasts a mild climate where she can literally put down roots, enjoy boating, gardening, and continue her successful real estate career. In addition to being an avid skier and snowboarder, Jane has her private pilot’s license and captains her own boat.
